These terms and conditions apply to all bookings via www.tourssuriname.com. By placing a booking you agree to these terms.
How the platform works
ToursSuriname.com is an online marketplace for day tours and excursions in Suriname, developed and managed by Henri Facility Services Advancements (HFS).
Tours are offered and operated by Henri Tours & Services (HTS), the current tour operator on the platform.
Bookings are processed via Bokun. After payment you will receive a confirmation email with a link to manage or cancel your booking.
1. Booking & confirmation
A booking is confirmed after full payment and written confirmation by email from our booking system Bokun. You will receive this confirmation automatically after completing your booking.
2. Payment
The full tour amount is paid 100% in advance at the time of booking. Payment is made via the available methods on our website, including iDEAL, credit card and Apple Pay.
3. Cancellation by the customer

You can easily cancel online via the link in your booking confirmation email. You can also contact us at info@tourssuriname.com. The date and time of your cancellation request is decisive.
4. Cancellation by ToursSuriname.com
We reserve the right to cancel or modify a tour due to extreme weather conditions, force majeure or other circumstances beyond our control. You will receive a full refund or an alternative date. We are not liable for additional costs such as flights or hotels.
5. Participation & liability
Participation in our tours is at your own risk. ToursSuriname.com and HTS are not liable for personal injury, loss or damage to property during a tour, unless caused by demonstrable intent or gross negligence.
Some tours take place in tropical rainforest, on water or in remote areas. Always follow the guide's instructions. We strongly recommend taking out adequate travel insurance.
Participants must report relevant medical conditions or limitations in advance. ToursSuriname.com reserves the right to exclude a participant in the event of dangerous or disruptive behaviour, without entitlement to a refund.
6. Complaints
Please report complaints directly during the tour to the guide or coordinator. Afterwards, use our contact form or email info@tourssuriname.com, no later than 14 days after the tour. We aim to respond within 14 working days.
7. Privacy
Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy & Cookie Policy.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Suriname. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Paramaribo, Suriname.
9. Amendments
ToursSuriname.com reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. The current version is always available at www.tourssuriname.com/algemene-voorwaarden.
